Charming decor with pet-friendly atmosphere
My stay was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful, always making me feel welcomed. I loved the historic charm of the hotel, especially the vintage artworks throughout. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, and having access to free bicycles made exploring a breeze. The only downside was that I wished there were more dining options available for breakfast.

The hotel has its charms with a unique decor and friendly staff that makes for a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a bit hectic with many students around, making it hard to find quiet workspaces. Also, the check-in process could be smoother, as it took longer than expected.

The unique historic charm is captivating, especially with the stunning bathroom blue tiles and rooftop views from the fifth floor. Excellent coffee options and a cozy lobby filled with books make for a relaxing experience. However, be prepared for additional costs like the hefty pet fee, and the overall pricing may feel steep for some families, considering alternative options nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially with the comfy bed and the amazing little coffee shop downstairs. Relaxing by the pool and taking a stroll in the garden made our stay even better. Just a heads up, the lobby bathrooms could use a bit more attention, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! ☕

Couples looking for a charming getaway
The atmosphere of the place was fantastic! Super fun decor, and they even let us hang out in the back room while the cafe was closed during the evening. That was unexpected. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even checked us in a bit early and held our bags until the room was ready. Really, for something during Yale graduations, upgrading to a king for just a couple of dollars was a steal.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but considering the experience, I’d say it was still acceptable.

Had a fantastic time with my friends! We really enjoyed the Shore Line Trolley Museum and taking in a show at the restored theater nearby. The hotel was in a great location, making it easy to explore both attractions. The staff was helpful, and the amenities made our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for a fun group getaway!
The only downside was the noise from the nearby street, which could be disruptive at night.
